My Fitness Pal Adjustments
If You Can't Measure It, You Can't Improve It. Management thinker Peter Drucker is often quoted as saying that “you can't manage what you can't measure.” Drucker means that you can't know whether or not you are successful unless success is defined and tracked. This month, we will start learning how to measure our macros and micros using a FREE online tracker. Use this video to help you make adjustments to your www.MyFitnessPal.com account and get started with tracking!

Use this link to download the FREE MyFitnessPal app to your phone. All the information you put into your MyFitnessPal account is stored on the cloud, meaning that you can enter information on your phone via the app, then log-in to your account on your desk top computer and see the same information. I HIGHLY recommend you make any setting adjustments to your account via your laptop or desktop computer, and use the app from your tablet or phone to track food consumption.

Use this website to calculate your recommended daily caloric need based off of YOUR specific lifestyle. Use the given caloric recommendation from this site in your MyFitnessPal account. If you want to lose weight, decrease the recommended caloric intake by NO MORE than 10%. For example, if your recommended daily caloric need is 2,000 calories and you wish to lose weight, you would enter 1,800 calories into MyFitnessPal for your daily caloric goal.

Since proper detoxification is about supporting our body to function properly AND to lower our toxic load, it is important to learn which foods we should be avoiding (that are high in toxins), and which ones we can consider purchasing conventionally. Note: ideally, we could all purchase ALL organic. But if your financial situation does not all this, try to avoid the dirty dozen from this list below:

GPL-TOX Profile (toxic non-metal chemicals)
Ever wondered what toxins your body might be holding on to? Because exposure to environmental pollutants has been linked to many chronic diseases, The Great Plains Laboratory has created GPL-TOX, a toxic non-metal chemical profile that screens for the presence of 172 different toxic chemicals. Workshop Re-Cap Audio File
The "cliff-note" audio file of the weeks workshop will be posted 48 hours after the workshop. It is in no way intended to replace class attendance, but we all know that things come up and making it to 100% of the workshops may not be possible. In that case, please review the audio file to get caught up on the currently happenings in the program. If you still have questions, or would like more personalization on this module topic, please schedule a consultation HERE.
