Additional Resources
Here you will find additional resources to help further your knowledge on this module topic.
Recommended Apps for Meditation and Anxiety Reduction
There are MANY apps you can download and use on your phone/tablet to help you create better habits around meditation, relaxation and anxiety reduction. SO MANY of them are good, but they are only good IF YOU USE THEM. Many of these have reminders that can pushed to your phone throughout the day, but you have to not ignore them when they pop up. Many of the guided meditation apps are lead by voice cues, and you have to enjoy the sound of the voice, or else you won't want to listen to it. You might have to try a few of these apps for a few days/weeks before you decide which one you list best. Take advantage of the free trials they offer and COMMIT to using them daily during the free trial so you can really learn which ones you like best!

Recommended PODCASTS
There are MANY podcasts that cover the topic of stress and how it can impact your health. Sure, I'd love for you to listen to them all, but I realize you may not have that kind of time. Some are more science based, some are more from the heart. Pick the one(s) that you enjoy the host and enjoy!
THE DRIVE by Dr. Peter Attia
This is BY FAR one of my favorite podcasts at the moment! But I won't lie, they get long and techincal. If that isn't your thing, you might not love it as much as I do. In this episode, Robert Sapolsky, Ph.D., discusses the widespread impact of stress on our physical and emotional health as well as the mechanisms by which it can precipitate chronic illness, dementia, depression, and more. |
MEATHEAD HIPPIE
by Emily Schromm Emily Schromm is a fellow NTP, personal trainer and entrepreneur...plus her podcast is a fun listen. Podcast #99 with Liz Smithers on Adrenals, Entrepreneurship and the 3 S's of Success. If you jump past the sponsors to 9:20 of the podcast, the entire recording is only 14:30 long. A short listen, but some good pearls regarding spiritual and emotional necessities, especially for entrepreneurs. |

Workshop Re-Cap Audio File
The "cliff-note" audio file of the weeks workshop will be posted 48 hours after the workshop. It is in no way intended to replace class attendance, but we all know that things come up and making it to 100% of the workshops may not be possible. In that case, please review the audio file to get caught up on the currently happenings in the program. If you still have questions, or would like more personalization on this module topic, please schedule a consultation HERE.
