MORE ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
The Metabolic Efficiency Program is an intense program that will teach your body to burn fat as a primary fuel source, allowing you to eat less calories during training/racing and reduce the risk for GI distress. We do this by eliminating most of the carbohydrate fuel sources that are sugar, or turn into sugar quickly in the body. Over a few weeks of reduced carbohydrates, increased quality fats, and moderate protein consumption, the body will be forced to utilize an alternate fuel source, fat. Once this happens, you will see significant benefits, not just in training, but in overall health. Many athletes note a change in body composition and the ability to loose fat while maintaining lean muscle.

2019 Class Schedule

This program is only taught ONE TIME PER YEAR, typically in the winter (most athlete's "off season"). It is best to complete this program when you have 6-8 weeks to focus on lighter/shorter workouts.  Although you can become "fat adapted" while training intensity is higher, you risk injury and frustration, as you will not have the energy needed to complete harder workouts while adapting. 

The program is taught in person at 1020 Whispering Pines Lane, Suite D in Grass Valley, CA. All program materials are emailed to participants on a weekly basis. It is important that you attend 80-100% of the classes to get the benefits from the program. Class space is limited to 10 participants.
