RESTART® Commonly Asked Questions and Answers
DO I HAVE TO ATTEND ALL 5 CLASSES?
WHAT IF I HAVE TO MISS 1 CLASS?
All of the classes offer extremely valuable information. However, if you need to miss a class, you will still receive all the information for that class via e-mail. I highly encourage you to read through the information and make sure you understand it. If you have any questions about the class material, you can post your questions on the private Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/757733704280079/). When multiple RESTART® classes are being offered, if there is space available in another class, you can attend that class to make up for the one you have missed. There are no refunds for missed classes. The class schedule is as follows:
Week 1- Preparation. During this class, you will receive your initial packet of information on the program which will include a list of food to eat and a list of foods to avoid while on the program.
Week 2- Digestion. During this class, you will learn all about how your digestive system is suppose to work and the common dysfunctions that many people experience.
Week 3- Blood Sugar. During this class, you will learn about proper blood sugar. This is one of the most important classes of the entire program and most of the previous participants of the RESTART® program say that this is a "must attend" class.
Week 4- Fats. This week, you will learn all about how to select good fats from bad fats and why. You will also learn about fats and why they are critical to include in our diet and for optimal health.
Week 5- Celebration! This is the last week of the program and during this class, you will learn all about how to reintroduce foods back into your diet in a healthy way.

I am on medications from my doctor. Are there any contraindications to taking the RESTART® program while on medications?
No. And as a matter of fact, once you have completed the program, I highly encourage you to make an appointment with your doctor to check to make sure the dosage for your medications is still correct. Many people experience dramatic improvements to their health after completely the RESTART® program and often times their medication dosage needs to be lower, or even eliminated all together. The RESTART® program is a whole foods based programs. No supplements will be required. If you have any doubts about whether or not this program is safe for you, I encourage you to talk to your doctor about it.

Where do I get ideas for recipes while on this program?
There are some great places to get recipes that are "RESTART® legal" recipes. I have a Pinterest page that has 5 boards dedicated to RESTART® recipes (RESTART® Breakfast, RESTART® Lunch, RESTART® Dinner, RESTART® Snacks, RESTART® Treats).

If you are not on Pinterest and would like a recipe book to use, I recommend Diane Sanfilippo's 21 Day Sugar Detox Recipes book. Not all of the recipes in her book are RESTART® legal recipes, but they are VERY CLOSE. You can buy her book at the Tri Real Food office during class, or you can purchase it on amazon or one of your local book stores. There will be a RESTART® Cookbook coming our in the summer of 2015!

Can children, pregnant or nursing women, and high level athletes participant in the RESTART® program?
YES! During week 1, we proved a list of foods to eat and foods to avoid while participating in the RESTART® program. You will also find a list of "modifiers." If you are a developing child, pregnant, nursing or an endurance athlete, it is encouraged for you to use the modifiers while participating in the RESTART® program.
